In
different countries in the world, cancer is considered as one of the major
diseases and from year to year, there are increasing numbers of cancer patients
dying. But according to the WHO or World Health Organization, this kind of
disease can be prevented. WHO is recommending the avoidance of tobacco, alcohol
abuse, being obese, carcinogens and STDs or sexually transmitted diseases.
Tobacco is the major culprit of lung cancer.
Cancer
is curable by having nutritious diet especially foods full of nutrients and
anti-oxidant foods. These are beans, berries, red grapes, green leafy
vegetables, cruciferous vegetables, sweet potatoes and carrots, tomatoes,
avocados, green tea, spices, jalapenos, chili peppers, garlic, figs, whole
grain, flax seeds, mushroom, grape fruits, nuts, oranges, lemons and yoghurt.
Beans
can make division of cancer cell slow because they have saponins. For soy beans
have saponins and phytoastrogens which can prevent prostate and breast cancer.
Berries
are anti-cancer foods because they have flavonoids and anti-oxidants.
Red
grapes can prevent cancer because they have bio flavonoids which can shut off
the valve in our body that releases tumor which caused enzymes.
Green
leafy vegetables can prevent stomach cancer, mouth cancer and colon cancer
because they have fibers and folic acids.
Cauliflower
and broccoli are considered cruciferous vegetables because these can induce
enzymes necessary to fight cancer. Broccoli has indole 3 carbinol which can
attract estrogen which caused cancer and at the same time it can convert this
to more productive estrogens. Broccoli has sulforaphane which can lower the
efficiency of the body’s immune system and is necessary to prevent rectal
cancer and colon cancer.
Sweet
potatoes and carrots have beta carotene which is needed to fight breast, mouth,
and lung, prostate and stomach cancer.
Tomatoes
are rich in lycopene and good to prevent prostate cancer. Better to take cooked
tomatoes rather than raw ones because cooked ones have richer lycopene.
Avocados
are good to fight cancer cells because they have glutathione and this can
prevent viral hepatitis which can become viral cancer.
Green
tea has chemical known as ECGC which can fight cancer cells.
Garlic,
turmeric, ginger, cinnamon and cayenne pepper are considered spices which have
anti-cancer effects.
Jalapenos
and chili peppers have compounds which are deadly to fight cancer cells.
Garlic
has sulfides which can also fight cancer cells.
Figs
have benzaldehyde which can prevent tumor as well as control can cells.
Oats
and wheat are considered whole grains which are rich in fiber and anti-oxidant
that have properties which can prevent cancer.
Flax
seeds have lignans which are best in preventing breast cancer.
Mushrooms
have beta glucans which are powerful to fight cancer cells and tumors.
Grape
fruits can fight breast cancer because these fruits can clean up mess left by
carcinogens.
Nuts
have Selenium for the purpose of fighting prostate cancer.
Oranges
and lemons can stimulate lymphocytes which can fight cancer.
Yoghurt
has anti cancer properties which can prevent carcinogens. This can be used in
making muffins or other baked foods or it can be eaten solely.
